Biography
Chien-Chi Chang is a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management at National Tsing-Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan R.O.C. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Utah in 1997. He has conducted ergonomics research in a variety of areas ranging from manual materials handling and slips and falls to tool design and anthropometric measurements. His recent projects involve the development of wearable measurement system for field study; lower back modeling for manual lifting task evaluation; balance control & gait analysis; and the fall prevention.
He has published in a variety of peer- reviewed journals, including Applied Ergonomics, the Journal of Biomechanics, Clinical Biomechanics, Ergonomics, the International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics, and Safety Science. He is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and the International Society of Biomechanics. He has successfully met the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics certification criteria and been awarded the distinguished credential - Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).
